Samsung is starting using LCD screens on their new A line, because people were complaining they were too expensive, Amoled is expensive to produce, but it is much better compared to LCD.

As of now, I don't know actually Samsung is going to have AMOLED or IPS LCD. If they use IPS on A8s it would be very frustrating to A8 series users. We don't expect this to Samsung. We want also ois camera panel on this device. Price should be equivalent to another midrange brand. So, waiting for good news from Samsung.

Why did they have to move the camera to the upper left corner? Just to copy the iPhone? The Galaxy A8 2018 looks nicer than this.
