I dropped A9 from cart. It is only SD660.

It's an amazing device from Samsung. But with the eye of OnePlus and Xiaomi fans Its too expensive. Then , dear Samsung ,, please reduce the price. (For me its okay at that price)

Anonymous, 23 Oct 2018How is SD660 a low-mid chipset? Get your facts straight first.If you are talking this at year 2017, yes, definitely SD660 is a high midrange processor.
But in year 2018, simply it is not.
It is not better than last year SD835, and this year, there is a SD710, it's successor, which is far more powerful.
Ok, for but for real life usage, I would say SD660 is far more than enough for most task, even the lower end SD636, which closely related to SD660 do get the job done without any issue.
Of course for the price concern, we all do hope Samsung offer at least SD710 at this price point, but simply it is not. There are even phone that same price as this Samsung A9 2018 offer SD845. So, there definitely no reason for Samsung to offer an outdated processor, unless it is all for cooperate cost saving purpose, which doesn't benefiting consumer.
