I am torn between getting a Samsung (not necessarily this model) and an iPhone (8 or higher). Can anyone give me an objective opinion on which is better? I am really not that interested in cameras, certainly not videos and I don't want to play games or watch movies on it. Need reliable and flexible email and texting and a good browser. Battery life very important. Thanks!

This phone is great! Cheap, they call it a budget phone. This phone is revolutionary. It could be making history here. First phone with 4 cameras. Just rear camera is above 40MP! 8GB of RAM, Snapdragon 660 and a brilliant and vivid 6.3 inch display, plus this display is made by Samsung so it is almost guaranteed to be a cute little 4K HDR mini TV!

Guys...Different Chiness Brand Offer You LCD/IPS Display. But Samsung Offer You Super Amoled Display Which Is 1000times Better Then LCD/IPS. Samsung A9 & A7 are actually great.

600 euro? S9 is listed at 600 euro too. would any sane person trade great flagship specs for 3 more cameras and perhaps some extra battery? lol

Only 1080p resolution. Is it Samsung? Cheaper phones by HUAWEI OPPO n vivo etc have 1080p resolution. This Samsung phone doesn't attract me cause of screen density is just like cheaper phones of cheaper brands. Only you have 4 cameras to make your phone attractive, otherwise there is no attraction in this phone range at all.
