After updating to oreo today (India) ,Camera is not working and after opening the camera app the message is showing "camera failed" and the app gets closed. I have already deleted the data of Camera app from App settings but it did not solve the issue.
Somebody please help to solve the issue.

So, I couldn't wait and installed through odin. And, to my surprise all my data is still intact. Seems a little faster than nougat. But I think real difference can be told only after a factory reset. But its still a bit faster.

I want to ask too. There was some news on 15th October of a9 pro getting Oreo update.

every flagship samsung its tested if new android version its stable before they give the approval to send the update all over the users world logic :)

I have hope that A9 pro 2016 will be upgraded to android 8.0. This handset will even rock after 2020 or till 3G and 4G become obsolete across the world (in all the countries).

Many advantages that we don't see nowadays even in high ends: 3 android upgrades,!As usual in Samsung , IR ,and USB 3.1 and OTG have gone to oblivion !!! Price:$250 that now maybe $200 or less.,,.Who knows how much it is in popular markets !!!?Thanks better midrange.
