anyone tried the I8160XXNB1 firmware launched recently in march 2014 what is the ram available after flashing same 482 MB or 624 MB.Is this firmware free from bugs and lags, is it stable???

Pls help me,frnds!I can't upgrafe my phone to JB with Kies-my device freezes in download mode half an hour and nothing happens in that time...Wht can I do,I don't want to upgrade with Odin,because I've read negative opinions about brick the phone etc.

Great mid range phone. Gingerbread was super. Jelly Bean version is a horror, lags, freezes etc. It is a shame that Samsung only takes care of the high end phones. The hardware of the phone is good, it is clear that the software is not optimised. If you can live without the extra features of JB, stick to GB, do not upgrade the software.

When I was using Sony Ericsson Xperia mini upgraded to ICS, it worked slow and lag. The same condition was happen too in Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 I8160, I had used this Samsung, upgraded to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 official in Samsung Service Center at my place, the result was lag and almost hang when streaming YouTube.

Will i have a fluid experience with this phone (dual800mhz) if i wont use any widgets, shortcut icons and only one default simple blackhome screen. ? Only i want to install viber and thats what im gonna use and the youtube app.

What is the best route to take for my first attempt to jailbreak, I also have an HTC Ryder I gotta do...Im a lil behind on all computer\cell tech but very much into chemistry/electronics...etc. While everyone was learning all this I simply chose to concentrate on theory&quantum physics & music...so...ya..capable just umeducated but eager now to learn just don't wanna get scammed into some sketchy money making fake method..yada yada. Where would I look to learn accurately. (And is this the same thing as rooting your cell? yup..im that ignorant lol)

Great little phone with the help of cm11 by maclaw making it run kitkat and also using memory swap handles any game thrown at it great phone in all if on budget
