The choice is between Xperia Sola (3,7" screen)and Ace 2 (3,8" screen), exactly the same price here in Thailand 9900 bahts (250 euros).
Personnaly i would prefer Xperia Sola (even without front camera), so better looking in white than the standard black Samsung slab...

And to all of you thinking that the Xperia U is better than this phone, try this. The Xperia U's 1 GHz dual-core processor gets an average Quadrant score of 2200+ (Google it), while the Ace 2's 800 MHz dual-core processor of the same chip architecture (NovaThor U8500) scores an average of 2300+ (check Phone Arena's preview). Despite having a more stylish design and sleek UI, Xperia U is inferior to almost every aspect compared to Ace 2.
Also, it's not Xperia U that is directly competing against the Ace 2, it's Xperia sola. But then again, it still is inferior to the Galaxy Ace 2. You might also consider One V, but it's the weakest of all within the price range.

super laggy interface sumtime..ace 2 dont have it...
super slow net baased chipset...ace 2 dont have it
slower blutooth...ace 2 dont have it....
for usb on the go,have 2 buy live dock..which is xpensive ...ace 2 dont cheat the people in here....
very shiney plastic case....so cheap....
and the most importent thing is its very irritating old neo v :D
samsung ace 2 dont have it :D

guys....i suggest the xperia u instead of this..
800mhz vs 1Ghz processor on the u.
same gpu. BETTER camera as the camera is from sony...they specialize in cameras....not that the ace has a bad one...just the sony ones are better.
usb ON THE GO! pendrives and keyboards and gamepads on your phone!... slightly smaller but much better and sharper screen.....looks much sexier than ace 2... trust me i got mine... worth every penny...

asian, 23 May 2012well....I'm not against the sony ericsson but one should no... moreyes boss but if u get ICS in a mid range mobile its better rt why should be go for high end, If Ace 2 is released in india for 17 or 18k then i can say that its good mid range mobile but if its Released in 21 or more then better buy an High end mobile rt like S2 which is about 26k in india

WTF, 23 May 2012Wat do u think about the price which is 20k or more and ICS... morewell....I'm not against the sony ericsson but one should not stick to single phone....we have to move on as the technology moves ahead rather then stickin' to the old school mobiles....it is better to adapt new things.... And if u r that ICS fan then u should buy galaxy s3 it is already hitting the market...

WTF, 23 May 2012Are u joking Neo v is the best it has ICS Update does ACe 2... morefor your kind information, this handset is also getting ICS update in Q3, 2012 with other samsung handsets. and who use panorama mode or usb on the go a lot? but panorama mode can be also used in this handset by just downloading a camera app from play store, but it is true that there is no hdmi but are you going plug in this handset with your tv everytime? and dual core cpu, 768mb RAM, 4gb storage, upto 32gb card slot and Bluetooth 3.0 is better for everyone.

and the ICS version of android have some problems in playin' flash videos.....It plays them but with some buffering problems otherwise its okay...and I think ICS version still have some room for improvement where as gingerbread is fully functional so wait till the improved version of ics comes out or wait more for the jelly bean 2 come out!!!!

I'm not in the favour of sony xperia v....because Its chubby...and out of date mobile....I guess the best in business is now the ace 2...it will top the popularity charts....and with mid range dual core performance it will beat htc one v and specially xperia v...and M not in the favour of hdmi port....what do we suppose to do with this!!! For tv connection....I guess I can live without this shitty feature rather then livin' without the dual core hardware

After more than 6 months of waiting for the right phone, I have finalized Ace 2. Bring it to India please. Xperia U looks gorgeous but it loses on SD card slot, battery backup, and memory. All very important for me. Xperia P can fight against Galaxy S Advance. Neo V is a good choice but it's an year old model and has single core CPU.
