and in order to root the phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2139263 (go to second page to see that this will not increase flash counter)! this is what i have done!
i have flashed with odin MG2, after root u can install what ever u want from recovery , CWM 6, Krillos rom , Juda`s77 1.6 and finaly CM 10.1 and this is the best rom, now i have trasparent statusbar and swaped usb storage with sdcard (16 gb)

I installed jellybean on my device. When I use the USB tethering, my phone reboots often. I never had this problem when I had Gingerbread. Is there a way to fix this problem?

When I used Galaxy Ace 2, I search www.samsung-updates.om and www.sammobile.com, there were some my country stock roms, yes available, but they were contain only one file (MD if I'm not mistake), no other like other country roms that contain MD file, CSC and PIT. So, at that time it couldn't downgraded to my prevoius firmware and those website didn't have the firmware version Gingerbread Galaxy Ace 2.

just find the GB Rom from your country in sam mobile than flash it using Odin.

anon, 14 Nov 2013how to update galaxy ace 2 to jelly bean? Check Settings, phone update. If you don't receive it, use Samsung Kies installed on PC then connect your smartphone to PC. If it is still not available, install Odin (search internet), open www.sammobile.com or www.samsung-updates.com find the rom you would like to download. After you have installed Jelly Bean, you can't go back to previous Gingerbread based on your country firmware.

yes there is zoom but in 4.1.2 version when you enter the camer do that thing with your fingers like when you zoom a picture remeber only in 4.1.2
