As long as you dont remove the application from the phone system.
Root gives you access to be able to remove whatever you dont want!

Hey guys have anybody tried to root this phone, and is it safe?, also if your phone is rooted can you still upgrade it to 4.1 when it comes out using kies or it it will not allow it because it's rooted ?

Your observations are correct. Consider these:
1) Camera zoom: Digital Zoom only reduces the photo quality, so it is virtually useless.
2) 555MB RAM is available for user, the other 213MB is reserved for the Android System (i.e. graphics, etc.)
3) System ROM for user is 1.1GB, USB Memory is 1.0GB. The other 1.9GB is again reserved for system use and not available for user.
4) Yes, no JB update yet... :)

I got my mobile 3 weeks ago and i noticed the following:
- the camera has no zoom option with current software.
- the ram is only 555 MB not 768 MB.
- the internal memory that can be used is 1 GB only.
- the software is not upgradable till now.

Samsung Google Nexus S or Samsung Ace 2? (I don't care much about 4.2 update) If you know any other phone same as Google Nexus S than please tell.

I bought my ace2 3 weeks ago and found the following:
The software is not upgradable till now
The camera has no zoom in options
The ram is only 555
The used internal memory is 1GB only

Hello fellow SGA2 users, i have a question: does the "Power Saving" feature on your handset automatically restore the previous settings you have (ex. 50% brightness from 10%) when the handset battery level rises above your set threshold for power saving?

Just to tell you, a good news...
Galaxy Ace 2 will get a jelly bean update in February, the current firmware is already there, but because there are still a lot of bugs, and it should be fixed before release into the Kies or OTA...
Believe it or not? it's up to you, the information I got from a friend who worked at Samsung

I bought this phone in China in October, I thought it was great, just once i returned to my country (Venezuela) I had a problem, the ROM / Baseband works only for China (the phone came without Playstore, access to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social networks only to the Samsung APP store)so I tried to change by myself the ROM with the KIES but it was locked, so I tried with ODIN, and once i was changing the ROM, the baseband disappear (now the phone only works in WIFI, and it cannot recognize the SIM card -that's my big problem-, so its works like an iPod -for example-), now I need to find the way to get this baseband. So please i need one of you help me with this problem. I called to the official Samsung support in my country and they cannot fix the problem because I used ODIN.
Hope one of you can help me with this problem
