Samsung is finally taking a step in the right direction with CDMA/GSM smartphones. The signal quality and strength of Reliance CDMA even deep inside apartments is just awesome. GSM can't hold a candle. People like me need to be available on the phone at all times, a combination of CDMA and GSM in smartphones is just perfect.

Can we connect internet in this handset with Gsm sim as i can connect with Cdma but Gsm its not connecting --plz can anyone say me what option i need to select to connect internet through Gsm sim --Thanz in advance

samsung galaxy ace duos i589 is more or less same as galaxy pop (cdma) except it has cdma&gsm combination.
it is unique that it is giving cdma-gsm combination. thanks for that.
camera is bad in low light.
like all other samsung phones battery backup is very poor. it is good as stand phone i.e. using it connecting with a charger. but for a day's out, it is miserable.

its not gud for gsm internet only cdma net,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but galaxy ace 5830 is better then galacy ace i589

This is DUAL-SIM, DUAL-Standby Phone and is having two SIM slots to hold two SIM, good phone compared to Motorola XT800, But XT800 is better in screen resolution and Camera (5MP). Over all Ace-Duos wins the game here for Android 2.3, 1650mAH, 800MHz and less in price.
