purchasers should keep the following points in mind while purchasing the phone :
a) the battery has to be charged to frequently for comfort.if you use the phone extensively it is going to be tough.
b)the network connection has to be done manually and you are likely to get stuck
c) within three months of purchase i had a problem
with the side button
On the positive side : the phone is good and is otherwise comfortable if you are connected. No issues on that count. i have all my social media connected and i have no issues on that count.

Launch the application choose start and choose wi-fi hotspot. change hot spot password in any 8 digits. then search wi-fi connection in youe laptop.Then run internet explorer and type
http:\\198.168.43.1:8080/
you can able to run internet and copy data to laptop or phone. you have to install java on your laptop to copy data.

Mannu, 20 Feb 2013Hi,,if anybody knows, how to connect ace duos s6802 with a ... moreselect settings on your galaxy ace and then select wireless and networks from the list select tethering and portable hotspot and tick the option portable wi-Fi hotspot, after that search wifi connections on your laptop and connect to your galaxy ace...
Don't forget to turn on the gprs service(packet data) from the mobile network option on the settings menu.

Nice phone. Bettery life is quite less. Other brands lyk LG,spice etc are provinding very good fones at same price of this phone. But samsung is most reliabl co. Thats y i prefer this phone.
