Anonymous, 16 Feb 2012any official upgrade afta 2.3.4its country specific...if u looking for official upgrade...then its depends on ur country....just connect to kies n find out ur official upgrade otherwise there are so many 2.3.5 2.3 6 upgrades are available via odin..search on SAM MOBILE OR SAM FIRMWARE SITE.

poor battery and there is no electric for more than 14 hours in nepal, so how to charge .....why battery is so poor?

dont know why people complaining about its battery back up n low internal memory...there are few methods which will solve this problems.....(ROOT REQUIRED)
for internal memory problem use apps like link2sd .u can find its procedure..just google it
for battery back up use app like juice defender... use titanium backup to freeze or uninstall some useless system app which constantly running in background...also use setcpu app to undervolt cpu to 480mhz when screen is off or phone not in use...

As per ur query,samsungy has a poor display , a 2 megapixel camera without any flash and it lacks graphical processing unit where as ace supports adreno 200 gpu.some people think that both ace and y are having the same processors I.e 800 mhz but there is a differnce.galaxy y is having a slightly cheaper kind of processor and it can't compete with the Ace's processot..also acr looks very good in hand like the iPhone 4s.also it has got a bigger display.
So my opinion would be galaxy ace.i am a proud owner of the galaxy ace

Despite of the common information the display IS NOT covered with Gorilla Galss :( The cover of the disply breaks very easily and straches too :(

Sleek look, voice of sound is clear. Battery life varies around 1-3 days depending on the load of usage. Battery charges fast tho. Latest official update to Gingerbread 2.3.6. has brought problems with enabling wifi and sending sms. Wifi problem can be fixed with booting device, same function fixes sms sending too, but it appears in few our again. Another phone boot is required or switching to offline mode and back online.
Phone is good, lags bit in menu functions and scrolling messages of call log/contacts if you have much stuff. The phone memory is insufficient, some applications or games cannot be installed if the internal memory is filled with temp or some ongoing background process, after shutting some stuff the apps/games can be installed.

AnonD-42473, 16 Feb 2012Is it true you can upgrade the internal memory, processor ,... moreyou can't upgrade the processor or ram cause it is a hardware thing but you can get only android version upgraded to 2.3.6 moreover,i bought this phone a week ago and i got a phone with greater processor 832 mhz, a slightly increased ram and increased internal memory.
you can only update software thing not hardware things like processor specially for a mobile
