why the photos taken via galaxy ace camera are always write protected ??
when i try to rotate the image using my pc the write protected message appear..and im not able to edit the image..
even if i save the image on my pc from the mobile im not able to edit those because of write protection..

its so so so good mobile .. i got it two weeks ago and every thing is good with me ...... just the main problem like any another mobile working with any an android system " the battery " and there is something else missing in this mobile " the front cam - or the secondary cam " but any thing else working with me as well and 100 % ..

I have written about complains on battery usage, all of you are right. You can get in the market different batteries to improve this issue, there are 2000mAh for 2 days, 3500mAh for 3 days may be a little more, original is only 1350mAh. There is no other way to get more power for your mobile than changing battery capacity. Batteries are same size tahn the original one, be sure teh voltage is 3.7V. In case you can get any better battery, then follow next advices: chose manualy your phone to stay in GSM/2G, turn your brightness to 50%, reduce your screen turn off to 20 or 30 seconds and disable service you are not using like GPS, bluetooth, vibration alert. probably you wont need to feed your mobile until next day evening

Szili, 30 Jan 2012Hey, if i have this phone with Froyo on it.. and the pho... moreIf you upgrade your Ace to gingerbread you cant lose unlocking, but be sure you are downloading firmware from the manufacturer (samsung) because service providers can write favorite networks and lost your unlock condition. Regularly favorites networks or PLMN are storaged into the mobile(this is a must requested by any operator) and simcard. When you unlocked a mobile you are erasing the list taht the mobile has from the original operator, the other lock is in the SIM programing.

seju, 30 Jan 2012its possible to video call? can anyone help me?Samsung Ace does not support videocall or videoconference. This mobile does not have front camera only sensors, if you want videocall you need upper samsung models and expend much more money on your purchase

With a regular use and switching the mobile to stay in 2G networks you can get 1 and a half day but no more. This is a regular issue with android smartphones so do not be disapointed, in summary Samsung Ace is a good option nad very cost effective option. Only one remarkable issue is the lack of flashplayer then you wont be able to play some videos directly from the internet.
