AnonD-30010, 30 Dec 2011what is cynagen mod ???? can any1 tell me and how it can be... more CyanogenMod is a hack. It is different for different devices that run on Android operating system. The ‘Mod’ in the name CyanogenMod means modifications, which are made to the Android software.
What it really does is it gives a lot of control and power to the users of the Android devices to make several customizations that are not possible otherwise. For example, if a user installs the CyanogenMod hack, he will be able to over-clock his phone’s CPU to make it work faster, change the wallpaper during the startup of the device and everywhere else, and also tether the phone’s data with his personal computer. These are just a few of the salient features available once the hack is made.
Now, once the CyanogenMod has replaced that Android OS with its own custom and hacked version, it then would allow a host of things that the official version of Android would have prevented. Its popularity has been such since its inception, that already there are 500,000 users of CyanogenMod to date, and it is still counting. Unfortunately there has been an issue related to running Google’s apps on this hacked OS. But the Developers of CyanogenMod have been smart enough to find a way out of that too.

Really nice mobile that fulfill my android desire.But the quality of camera and the power of battery is low and need to solve soon.

The internal memory is not 158 MB but 181 MB.
QVGA recording is 20 fps not 15 fps.

nice phone almost has every functions but battery back up is low.ACE has everything which can take care of ones needs. The product falls too short in terms on internal memory and does not have dual camera.
Rest everything is just uncomparable. But Internal memory being main, makes it too small and too slow on performance. One has to sacrifice lot of applications so as to install new.

The Galaxy Ace is a mid-range Android smartphone .that offers a slick user experience but its looks overpriced for its features.

Dude i hv rooted my ph n aftr that i hv totally shifted mt all apps to sd card. I hv installed approx 140apps n games n still i have 80mb of int. Mmry. Left.
Rooting the device has some pros n cons....
.... I m nt a big techy... Bt still i rooted my ace sucessfully. So low int. Memory is.nt a big issue atleast for.me.....
Ya low battery is one of the.big problem. Samsung sud recall all the ace phs.... N replace the current battery with some powerfull battery...... This is only n only a solution. None of ant tricks n battery saver apps r working.....
About icecream sandwich...... In ace..... Hnmmn dats near to immpossble. As low hardware....in ace..... Runours r all around abt ics in ace...... Just puting our fingure cross...

i don't know how to root my ACE ... and whats dis cyanagen mode ? .... my problem is low internal memory , NO HD VIDEOS and GAMES .... and i want to update my phone to ice-cream sandwich ..... pls help me guys .

Internal memory problem c... morealso u can root ur stock rom n install link2sd to move ur apps.only thing is that u have to partition ur memory card in ext3 format..i have installed 40+ apps including asphalt5,gt racing motor acedamy n i still have 140mb internal memory free...so guys low internal memory is not that big issue...(atleast for me)

Dont regret if u have bought ace. Internal memory problem can be solved by flashing cyanagen Mod 7.2 on it. Then Install App2SD. All app can be moved to SD card.
