Phone feels a little too light and sleeky on my hands, good thing they added a rugged back cover for better grip. Interface is a little cartoonish, icons are plain in shape and color, but a good theme launcher can fix. Operating this phone is smooth, performance and screen -wise. I just got a LG P350 too, icons looks slightly better to my liking, but hardware is horribly poor, battery life is unbearably short: Fire up a game or 3G browse/download on the streets and strike-3-out! LG battery will be dead on a 30'min bus trip. The Ace, on the other hand, is much easier on the eyes, touch and battery life... I dumped that LG toy to my nephew - poor girl was using a 6-year old mom's calmshell CDMA phone, so its still good for making calls and texting "if" you download the swipe keyboard that comes built-in the Ace!

Its also(Ace) good phone, but compare with nokia c6-1.. better ... all manners.....

I have recently decided to get the samsung ace and have searched just about everywhere I can because I have to stick with the Optus network. But after reading comments on this site I'm starting to wonder.... Can someone please tell me what a hang is or what is means for a phone to do that... and whether this phone is worth buying...

Realy its battery is very poor otherwise the phone and features are awesome......

Battery is bad and keeps up two days. Samsung please find solutions, I think the battery should be at least 1500mAh.

I just want to help a few guys who are doubtful bout the battery
After i read all the comments here i think battery problem is not an issue. Some people say that they cant last a day! Battery life varies from person to person. If you are switching to ace from an older phone which had better battery, dont be reluctant to buy this.. If you use the ace just like the old phone it seems to have the same battery power.
Some people use wifi, 3g, gps, live streaming etc. And a hell a lot of stuff that they dint do with their old phones and still complain their ace batteries do not last
So if you like the ace, buy it. Forget about the battery stuff.

Does anyone know why al... moresome apps in the market are actually directly saved to SD, some are only allowed to be saved within the internal memory, even i got an app that saves automatically in SD, just cant control it, its a smartphone, it is smart :(
