Got this phone for 3 days now and I'm really impressed with it's performance battery last for a day 1/2 in moderate usage.
For it's price it's an amazing phone featurewise.
It came with stock froyo OS and successfully updated it to gingerbread 2.3.4 via Kies.

This is the one of the best phone,I,ever had.Android
is really great OS comparing symbian.
Important minus point to all samsung phone is battery life.For beginners Ace is the best option.
Comparing with other Android handsets this is has sexy
look and very handy to carry.

swa, 31 Oct 2011hi frns its battery backup is very poor. what can i do for... moreInstall "Juice Defender" and set the option to balanced/aggresive.. It improves battery life nd s quite good.. Wth my gingerbread, 1 hr f talkng ech day, 1 hr f wi-fi, plyng games 2 sm extent, 2 hrs f music nd radio, nd lots f msgs ech day.. my battery aftr 1 dy still remains at around 25% :)

this is a cool phone! The battery life is good than htc wildfire s..also hav a good UI than wildfire
..evry smart phn hav to charge at once in day..tha price is around 14,000 so it is a good package
..there some problem in video so the same parice the sony ericsso xperia mini and live with walkmanis a good option the both phone have powerfull cpu than ace and the same price so go wid xperia or live Wid walkman

Once you upgrade from 2.2 (Froyo) to 2.3 (Gingerbread), the following options will be removed:
1. Option to change messaging skin
2. Option to change message alert tone to other than what was originally installed (prior to upgrade)

I m using dis ph,it is gud,nd suport mp4 videos,its batry life is acordingly fine,satisfied wid dis phone,coz it givs me pkeasure of other high range phones....

I'm using this phone about a month. Good design specially the black back cover, it is scratch free not the white one, that is why I'm using the black. Gingerbread 2.3.4 also good, I'm looking forward for 2.3.5.The apps is like iphone,it is multitouch but you can only used 2 fingers maximum touch at the same time. Compared to iphone multitouch. Battery life is bad, it last for a day even the brightness set to lowest. Autokill is necessary for this phone. Need to recharge daily.
I love this phone though the battery life is poor, important is the apps, you can download it in the market and even in other sites. User friendly, excellent design and sounds. :)
