DG, 07 Sep 2011i have noted that 1. they have now given an software update... moreyes i too noted it about message skin .. they took it off and ya on the air update is available which is common in the latest version .. did u note that there is a download application in the menu .. whatever u download via the browser or anything it is listed there

[deleted post]I checked both the handsets yesterday and found Xperia mini to be way better than Ace. I will buy it next week. Anyone confused between these two handsets, Please go for Xperia mini.

I updated my Ace to Gingerbread v2.3.4, manually installed latest android market app v3.1.3 and manually installed Adobe flash player for ARM6 v10.1 and every thing is perfect.

Frinds , no need for much excitement on gingerbread update ,'cause still no full adobe flash support available !. Samsung why this discrimination to such a good midsegment droid ,we also paid bucks ,please give us an adobe flash update soon .thanks

GAlaxy ace is a superb set. with my set upgraded 2 gingerbread i have unlimitted apps... the gorilla screen is sweet.
the only drawback is its battery... It won't stand even a single day if u are using it heavily...
I got only 4 days standby which is absurb...
Otherwise it is an excellent smartphone
