the only thing that bothers me is, it takes a long time for the phone to startup after we shut it down.

I m from india, I got 2.3.4 updates, hurrey, the best part is copy peste, VGA video recording and xvid codec

Been using Samsung Galaxy Ace for about 2 months or so, it always automatically switch off without knowing, and than cannot be switch on again using the on/off button, got to remove and replace the battery again to switch it on. Is this a special feature of the phone? or it's a faulty phone?

Got mine 4 days ago... and I upgraded it to Gingerbread 2.3.4 via Odin... my phone is much better... I love this phone...

I own this phone and it's amazing. The 800MHz processor handles just about everything I've downloaded onto it. The internal memory is enough for data, and apps can be stored on the microsd card which comes with the phone. It's also fully upgradable to Android 2.3.3 so it is up to date. Highly recommend this phone.

I have this phone and it is great especially when u download few things from android market and samsung apps (FB,Twitter,few games and other stuff) . Phone runs smoothly (800 MHz processor). Only thing that u wont like if u buy is battery. Its great if ur not using it often (i use 2g). Playing games,gps (mybe wi fi) will use up ur battery for surely (dont buy it if u plan to consume battery it too much). Playing music and calls are cool they wont use up ur battery. Except for battery everything is GREAT i can tell u that for sure because i owe it. But what can u expect for little less that 200 Euros. Its on v2.2 froyo and it can be upgraded to v2.3 . And if u have some doubts between Ace and Wildfire S just buy ACE

New firmware update is available to Sri Lanka and India. New firmware update supports Tamil languge (and Hindi too).
if Samsung can do it why not Google. Google's ignorance towards Indic languages is regrettable.
