The battery life certainly poor because I have to charge once a day.

Motorola's service centers are shit as it is out sourced. I have seen them myself. So if your Motorola is spoilt then God save you. Mostly their service centers have one or more companies contract. So it can be Morotrola and ZTE,Micromax and other Chinese phones being repaired at the same center and their are an inefficient lot. Best of luck with your Motorola.

bought this phone just this july 29 2011, before i purchased this phone i am aware of some flaws of this phone, like batt is easy drain (well most of smartphone drain easily particularly if youre using the most out of it. ).. aswell as the RAM, and so forth.. however this isnt make me think not to buy this phone, .. its a smart phone come on..there's always a way for a smart phone.. so after buying it, what i did was.. look for the possible remedy in app store well what i install is a ram booster for the easy manage of RAM, battery booster for the batt,..just that two app for that the only disadvantage of ACE.. :)

My phone ended up like that too, after installing some software (AVG antivirus to be exact). To Get your phone running, you will need to format your phone. All data in it may be lost, but at least you get back a workable phone.
Steps:
1) Turn off your phone, either by power button or by removing battery
2) If you took off the battery, put it back in
3) here comes the slightly tricky part. Now press the home button, hold it there, and press power on simultaneously. you may then release the power button,
4) ONLY release the home key when you get to 'android system recovery (3E) screen.
4) Now using your volume keys for navigation, press volume down to get to 'wipe data/factory reset'
5) press home to select
6) you will now be notified that formatting will wipe all user data. navigate using volume key to yes and press home to confirm.
7) if it ask to confirm select yes again. if not proceed to #8
7) your phone may reboot a few times, let it go ahead with reboot.
8) now you will get your phone working again, but contacts, media files and messages, including the apps, will be removed. But at least you can now use your phone ;)

Why are u looking at this shit brand>?samsung sucks..!low quallity chinese phone, 10 years of bad experience...I bhgt defy, motorola defy,, what a tocuscreen..awesome ph at 14000INR.. best but...much much much better than shit ace..I mean no comparisn
