I buy ace 25 days... moreDude, Simple you are paying much for Wave. and ACE is just 13300 today in market.. what about Wave?? are you paying same?? higher the price and higer options. Simple.
Music i agree, would have been better in ACE.
Vedio ACE is also one of the best.. let me bet, an HD will look almost same. ( I have tested my ace with wave, on this and with sony ARC, and Galaxy S2 and Lg optimus 2x)
Only slight difference u can see.. that's it. and of cousre this is also due to money constraint.
even if you have a mobile company u will not give super amoled screen for 1000 rs phone. heheheh..
ACE Video definitive the best for the price range.
Touch post upgraded mine to 2.3.4 , its best and ofcourse u cant compare with apple ( i have compared) and yes the higher end models does have slight touch is better , again cost.
i bought ace 2 months back for 14.5 k(Note: i bought 2 handset so i got this cost 2 months back) and i have rooted and updated to 2.3.4 and i have many games, not even a single time i have crash nor neither switch off. It got hung and i had to kill app to continue work on it, but never ever it turned off..
wave is bada one of the pathetic os from sumsung ( i personally have samsung monte with BADA OS ) so i know about it.
ACE is with Android a stable kernel from linux. and whole lot of apps and a stable OS than Synbian.
Simply you cant not compare BADA with DROID.
i can bet my bottom dollar, anyone disagree with this i will give my phone number, let them talk to me and make me agree if BADA is good i will give all my phones( Optimus 2X, ACE, Monte, Nokia C6,and 6630,) for free of cost
Do not compare the phone of 18/19/20 k with 13k.. simple what you pay is what you get..

my friend using wave2 since 2.5 months
I start asphalt 5 same time on both and I feel cheated by see wave 2 has great performance wave2 has amazing graphics and like everything and wave2 has perfect sensor
wow! what a performance of wave2
ace is nothing against wave2
then I see music clearly
wave2 has amazing sound effects
ace has normal
then i see video clarity wave2 play video very amazing and has great clearly like everything
ace cannot stand against wave2 video player
touch is slice good in wave2
ace lag and hung too much
wave2 never lag and hung
wave2 has 1 ghz core processor which is extremely fast
wave2 has powervr540 gpu which make wave 2 rich
wave2 has super clear lcd display
ace can't comparable because of tft display
ace has problem of automatically switch off
wave2 can video call because it has front camera
ace has not front camera
wave2 has resolution of 480*800
ace has resolution of 320*480

AnonD-14922, 25 Jul 2011I hv being using this model since april n it shut down on i... morethis is the same prob i faced, my phone was switching off on it's own till i upgraded it to gingerbread 2.3.4 (Unofficial) anyhow in froyo (2.2) u can install this app called "load monitor" and activate the "keep awake" feature in that, this will solve this switching off issue but it drains out battery...

I hv being using this model since april n it shut down on its own n i got to re install the battery b4 I can restart it. I hv sent it back to the shop n they sent it to the hq for 3 wks. After getting it back for a few days.I face the same problem again. Can anyone give me some ideas what to do next?

I refer to the agent and they asked me to send back and he blame my soft wares. Pls advise.
