Why can't the phone be used while charging? The idea of having a cell phone is that one is contactable most of the time... not so? Am thinking of returning the phone and getting something else.

gs337t, 17 Jul 2011Which one is better samsung galaxy ace or lg optimus one2 anser ur question.. i can say tht ull go 4 lg optimus 1. cuz there is 4000 difference between lg & samsung ace... 4 tht cst u r nt going to get huge difference in ace.. except camera, 800 processor & 16M color.. im using ace 4 last 1 month im happy with it.. bt im nt fully satisfied, wt ive paid for, its internal memory is very less wn compared to optimus.. ( pls make sure de one problem tht lg optimus has is dust, tht u can watch it in youtube )so LG stands in Edge 4 wt u r spending !

i have this phone for a week now and it seems to be a god phone with some minor issue like
battery - it depends on how we use a phone heavy usage can cause a faster discharge of battery
camera - it takes better picture compare to other 5mpix smartphone in the market, and after i upgrade mine with gingerbread the video capture is now in vga.
Ram and Internal memory - we all know its not a high end phone so don't expect too much on a budget phone
call quality - good enough i am satisfied
speaker - not so loud but its giving a clear sound
build quality - i can say its better and very solid in hand nice back cover with rubberize texture...

So far, the only down factor for me is the volume capacity when viewing downloaded movie video...even set at its maximum, either by headset or loudspeaker, it still is too low volume. If you are in a crowded noisy place, you cant hear a damn thing. Also, there are a few times that the phone automatically shuts off but this is not frequent. Maybe if it is just using up some of the apps...otherwise, this is a very useful phone for me especially when wifi signals are abound.

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME:
I'm confused between two mid range smartphones
1)SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE
2)HUAWEI IDEOS "X5".
I personally like samsung but with a bit more features HUAWEI is really making it difficult for me to go for ACE. So please post your valuable comment's and help me out.

Does anyone have problems with S5830's GPS-receiver like it was with Galaxy S in 2010. before firmware fix???
Is it possible to install Navigon and navigate without internet connection? Is the connection with the GPS satellites OK, or it drops from time to time?
