Charging it while turned off will be slightly faster than while on.

Just a question, when the phone is fully charged, does the battery icon turn blue or is there supposed to be a message that says "battery is fully charged", etc. and is it advisable to charge it while it is turned on or turned off? I just got this phone a few days ago and that's something that I just want to clarify...

u cant compare ace with iphone jus like u cant compared a BMW with a Toyota.
i have sell my iphone4 for a Ace, i should say Android OS does really eat up those ram and battery juice fast, but with Gingerbread 2.3 for a upgrade i hope its solve those unnecessary running of application, u can get a 1.5days with playing simple games, some music, few messaging and 1/2hr of calls and mid usage of wifi.
In term of usage IOS is more simplify whereas Android kind of complicated, but of cos u need to get use to it.
Sound quality is above average but not excellent.
Although Ace have 16m color display but in term of pixel, iphone win, Ace is kind of blurry.
Now i have realized that Ram does really major roles in running apps, Ace have only 278 ram whereas iphone4 have 512 ram, processor is the speed an apps ram is handling of the apps.
1 problem is that i miss is Apple apps store, cos Android market needed a wifi or 3G network, then u can download those apps, another method is either u roots ur Android with a high chance to get brick or i jus discover another way but yet to justify hope its can do it via PC.

Firstly, you shouldn't turn your smartphone into a normal phone by turning off wifi, gps, 3g, etc... just to save battery. Enjoy your smartphone even though it has a bad battery backup.
Second of all, if you still want to save battery, you don't need to turn off anything. Just download an application called juice defender. It will save battery without turning off anything. Hope this helps you.

Samsung Galaxy Ace is really very good....its just an alternative for Iphone. I'm happy 2 be samsung family...
