I saw the extended battery 1500mAh on ebay.. hope that solves the problem.. Why doesnt Samsung come up with a 1500mAh battery for ACE>..

but try to use quality ear phones.. to see the difference..
I'm using Logitech Ultimate ear phones and the sound quality is great...

i upgraded my firmware.. how come the battery icon and screen lock didn't change just like others claiming? does that mean i failed in upgrading my firmware?

khancupid, 30 Apr 2011I bought Samsung Ace today itself.....just want to know eve... moreIt has gorilla glass, however putting a scratch guard is a good idea so you should do it since gorilla glass doesn't really give you a 100% guarantee that screen won't be scratched, as for dust, it is pretty dust proof, i haven't had a single speck of dust on it since i bought it

I bought Samsung Ace today itself.....just want to know even if it has a Gorilla glass display do we really need to put a Scratch guard on the phone for screen protection against dust & scratches.

Yes battery life is tricky. On day 1 it only lasted for 6 hrs. However I was using it more like a laptop than a phone. My phone was constantly on! Now after using it for more than 2 months my battery lasts more than a day. Also I have learned from my mistakes I'm not running too many services in background and not auto updating status of facebook, twitter and various emails in background. I've already updated the version of Kies to 2.0.0.11032_12, still there's no option for Firmware Upgrade and the only notification was "This is the latest firmware." but I didn't update anything.
