I have been using this phone for about 4 days now. Nice features overall. Light weight and responsive screen. UI is also quick. But seriously bad battery performance. I make a lot of calls throughout the day and have to recharge the battery twice. Noticed another issue that sometimes I am unable to make any voice calls when the 3G connection is active (I keep auto sync for Gmail enabled). I am using Vodafone in Kolkata. Overall a pretty good phone for a very reasonable price, considering the features it offers. Battery should have been much better though.

SL has extra ALL -- memory, ram, speed, graphics, size -- than Ace, but it is not needed if you are just light to average user (like me). Furthermore, the Ace has the SAME 5 mp camera as SL, but it has LED flash, while the SL doesn't. And the Ace is cheaper too, and made of SAME gorilla glass as the more expensive SL.
And I think the Ace looks twice BETTER than SL, which is too big for my pockets. The Ace also comes complete with all accessories, and all connectivity options are there too -- wifi b/g/n, gps, 3g, etc.
Ace is the best standard smartphone I can think of-- it is excellent in all the right places, and price looks good too.

Motorola defy is the best.......... moreActually Defy is around 17k while Ace is around 15k :) However Defy is on 2.1 while Ace is on 2.2.
