2. yes, ace has a qwerty keyboard to type messages, jus like a computer. u will have to use shift key or press down a key to enter numbers though...
3. no idea, i have never used a Nokia smartphone

I am using it for one and a half months and I faced the same problems that you are facing now, this I my first android phone and I believe its yours too.
There are some issues with the android OS which we try to associate with the phone.
Yes the RAM is less then Optimus and even the battery is smaller but the Galaxy Ace has Gorilla Glass™, camera flash, proximity sensor, 800MHz processor, larger display with 16M colours, the list is endless.
If your friend has an Optimus One, then you can hold both the phones in your hand and immediately you will notice the cheap rubbery finish of LG Optimus One.
Even LG Optimus owners are not happy with there phones, you can read about there problems here http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_optimus_one_p500-reviews-3516.php you will see that after two months several problems arise.

Except battery getting discharged quickly, this is very good phone comparing its price. Photo quality, touch response are good.

My doubt is between this and the LG P500, the LG costs less 40euros and have more RAM.
