In a nutshell:
Been using the galaxy ace for a month now. i can squeeze out three complete days in moderate use (some music, some internet, some gaming, normal texting) with the help of juicedefender. I am quite happy with that.
The Ace Processor is slow however..., don't expect smooth gaming on this device. The front buttons are also kind of 'plasticky' and feel cheap.
its worth its money and is good for its entry to medium level class...

hey...my advice is not to buy samsung galaxy ace...there are few reasons why......
1-samsung is not in a habit to provide updates rather than it launches a new phone with updated specs ..u can see in the case of samsung galaxy s .while they have just launched another phones...
2-samsung has truly copied from the iphone 4....icons and gui are very much same
3-samsung galaxy ace has a slow touch than the wildfire s..

LG optimus one now costs about 10,000 Rs. They should seriously consider bringing the price of Ace down now.
Is there a successor coming to LG optimus one or Samsung Galaxy Ace?

other nokia handsets you can actually use your SD memory as default Storage and internal memory it will be a big help if i can do that as well on this Ace which having low Internal memory, please tell me what to do then i will buy this phone promise man if posible to use SD memory as Internal memory,

htc wildfire s is exactly like the old wildfire, but more expensive. Same small size, same processor speed, but smaller battery -- beware!!!

AnonD-4809, 30 Mar 2011go for Optimus One..! u'll be highly disappointed with ACE'... moreBro, for your information, the LG optimus 1 DONT HAVE flash support in the web browser, and it has NO LED flash, and its camera is low pixels (3mp) whereas the Ace has 5mp with LED flash, and the processor is 600 mhz (too slow for document editing). Yeah, the LG op1 also has NO SWYPE, and has one of the worst keyboards on a smartphone. Good luck typing!!
For something that has just 1350 mah battery, The Ace lasts me 1.5 days before charging, and that includes web browsing, calls & sms, 1 hour of games, and 2 hours of radio.
The LG Op 1 has only 2 advantages: 512 ram, and 1500 mah battery. Thats it. All else is small.
The Ace has tons of advantages: 800 mhz CPU, 3.5" screen, 5mp camera with LED flash, froyo, SWYPE, latest UI, Adreno 200 graphics chip, etc. And the price of Ace is only a tad higher than LG Op 1.
The Ace is the Best deal there is, bro!

otherwise overall its great.
some new user of anroid you can get all the apps in market just sign in and download which one you need and also download app2sd and advance task killer

Can someone check for me.
Just got the fone.
Notice that GPS & Wifi (when turned on) signs will not appear on the notification panel at the top.
Bluetooth & silent signs will.
It this normal?
My previous LG fone will show all services on the notification panel.

happy, 30 Mar 2011 can we coonect it to the pc to sufr internet bcause samsu... moreWell internet connectivity has nothing to do with Samsung phones, since most of the phones which have a PC interface support Internet sharing to PC. I have used Samsung X700, OmniaPro and Galaxy Ace and they all support sharing of internet connection. In Galaxy / Android devices it is called USB teethering. Alternately you can also configure it as a Wifi Hotspot. Be sure you install Kies before you use USB teethering.
Before you buy, a piece of suggestion, its battery life sucks... so if you are a heavy user like me, make sure you always carry the charger. But then if you don't have a wall outlet to charge, then ....
