hi em kinda confused froyo technically allows you to save apps 2 SD right? how come some apps would still be incompatible?

just about every phone with an OS can install jar apps. I did it with my 5 yr ol nokia on symbian, so why not samsung ace

Bought the white version last week here in Qatar. Happy with the overall performance of the phone. The screen's very responsive and can handle multi tasking well. On my third day of use the phone automatically shut off turned in on again and it went on with out interruption till today. It automatically shut off for 4 times. I went to Samsung service center and have its firmware upgraded. So far phone's doing good.
cons:
battery life is not that good but it's tolerable. If you're a heavy user i suggest you bring a charger for the battery will only last for 7 hours of heavy use. (heavy use means; MP3 for 1 hour, extreme use of Yahoo Messenger, uploading of picture in social networking sites, twitter, you tube, phone calls for 2 hours, 20 sms sending)
overall rating... THE BEST MID RANGE PHONE SO FAR!!!

does these phones support following
avi,mkv,mpg,wmv,flv.

Pros:
Pretty smooth UI
Great feature set for that price
Cons:
Short battery life
Very poor sunlight visibility

Apps that makes this Ace better,
1. PowerAmp - gr8 sound, gr8 output.
2. Astro file manager
3. Nimbuzz - if u love chattin
4. ALdiko 2 book reader
5. APP2SD - > move apps from phone to SD.
6. Google Goggles / sky map (Just Amazin!)
7. SMS Call Responder - since ace does not have 'reject call with SMS freature'
8. History Eraser - handy tool to erase logs, cache, and many other stuffs
9. android Tool Kit (Awesome App)
10. Flash Light - uses LED at the back as flash lite
All these are there in the android market, and are free...
These may not be the best list of apps but it will certainly make ur ACE better!!
