indian, 21 Mar 2011i am planed to buy this phone, but i am concerned with ... moreyou can say, its ok compared to nokia models. The speaker is on back and if the phone is placed on cushion or such soft surface, it will be hard to use speaker phone. Ring volume is ok.

I use Samsung Ace and I must say that the sound qulaity is good if You use a good pair of headphones (Hcl,Iball etc. etc)
Dont worry dude, its an awesome fone :)

guyz i have bin using this fone for.3.weeks.now"!"!!!!great fone n android.os. totaly rocks!!! the bad part is that its battery life really sux !!! and sumtimes the phone hangs and switches off!! if u can live wid that than it is a best buy at this price!!!! B-)

1) How come chinese character is not supported... morewhich country version that u had bought? does it support Chinese?
if the answer is no u can install other input app to solve it.
regarding to the ringtone issue, u can create another file as name of "notifications" in sd card,after that move the sound that u want make it as ringtone into inside and u will be able to make it =)

the only problem i concern is internal usage,i had installed around 30++ app and the remain usage leave around 80mb only~consider enough for normal use but if u want more games inside maybe have to reconsider it~

My samsung galaxy ace gt-s5830 keeps turning itself off. The only way I can get the mobile to switch back on again is to take the battery out and then switch it on again.
anybody facing the same issue..any solution??

Very nice phone at a reasonable price. I'm satisfied. Hopefully, it can be upgraded to Gingerbread. That will be awesome!

Hello Friends. Using my Ace for 3 weeks and here are my observations.
UPS..
* ANDROID 2.2
* Great touch sensitivity.(over nokia 5800 XM)
good Display inspite of 320*480 resolution.
* 800Mhz and 280Mb RAM does a really cool job. No hanging or restarts even after filling 16Gb of memory in Card.
* Inbuilt apps like Task Manager,apps Manager,think free(like Office suite),Gallery and all Google apps work really well.
* Camera's image quality is fantastic.
* Music player is really cool with EQ and Speaker does a Fair Job.
* Internet browser is fantastic. ( Got frustrated with nokia 5800's ).
* Great Gaming on 3.5'in Screen( like NFS SHIFT ).
* Live wallpapers,Froyo,FB are good to Personalize.
DOWNS . .
* Video Player is Frustrating. Limited CODEC support. * Have to Convert Videos to different resolutions every time.
* Limited options in Video player such as play/pause,forw,revi,timebar thats all.
internal memory is really low.
* Battery after average use (3-4 HOURS MUSIC WITH 1 HOUR VIDEO AND 3-4 HOURS 2G TALK TIME) lasts upto 18 hours with standby time.
* No Video calling for 15k? thats Frustrating.
* Video Recording is disasters at 15fps. but good for play back in device.
Overall its an above average phone.
about choosing this phone.

Hi we can set the folder ringtone. Go to music player , play your fav click on menu button select "set as ringtone " option.
