Galaxy ace is very good phone to buy. it also come with live wallpapers. the design is also good and is upgradable to 2.3. it come with all the features but the battery comes with 1350mA li ion which is not that too strong and doesnt last long.

Don't get the Moto Defy, unless you are a klutz who drops a phone into the swimming pool every day.. Defy looks like a phone in a diver's suit, with android 2.1. Not very cool.
Get the Galaxy ACE -- its made of corning's GORILLA GLASS, and is much, much tougher than iphone 4's "unbreakable" glass.

If you want a superb multimedia phone,go for wave II, far better than galaxy ace, but the downgrade is the OS, but sammy will release bada 2.0 very soon! ^^

Bought Galaxy Ace 3 weeks ago -- and I am still very satisfied with it. Speed is very good, and the camera with flash -- well, I take shots everywhere and at any time, day or night, and all my pics look spectacular!! Internet browing is really fast.
I just love this phone! Go get it. I also tried other phones like Samsung Wave 2, and Nokia c7.
Wave 2 is good, but their Bada apps is childish in appearance and very very few, unlike Android apps.
Nokia c7 has 8 mp camera, but the fixed focus does not give good results unlike auto-focus. Also nokia c7 has only 3 homescreens, and no live wallpaper..no SWYPE either. All Nokias are a big heache when it comes to internet browsing, so if you browse the internet or download often, Nokia c7 is NOT the phone for you.. The Nokia OVI store is also full of junk apps. Most of OVI paid apps are apps you can get free on other websites like umnet.com, while the free apps on OVI are just worthless.
Take my advice: Get an ANDROID, better yet, get a SAMSUNG Android. I recommend Samsung Galaxy Ace. Best price with best features, and it looks SO HANDSOME TOO.

Actually i had Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic which got stolen long back...& now am interested to buy this Samsung Ace phone. I had a backup file of my earlier phone in some (*.nbu) format saved via Nokia PC suite of almost 6GB in size.
I want all my files/contacts/messages/contactimages/all music & video files that am able to view or enjoy it on my Nokia to this phone. Is there any way out to restore it to Samsung Ace.
Also, Is it possible that all those formats of Video/Music files that Nokia 5800 supports will play on this phone too ???
Pls, help me....rest everything is fine with this phone. Thanx in advance :-)

I am planning to buy Samsung Galaxy Ace. The other day I was using my friend's Galaxy Ace under the sunlight. I could barely see the screen under the bright sunlight. I want to know the experience of other users in this aspect. Is the screen legible under direct sunlight?

Download APN on/off widget. U can switch on/off your internet connection whenever u want. This wil help in saving battery.
HOW to connect to the internet on laptop via Bluetooth?? Any idea? By connecting USB cable i cud thru Kies tither. But in Nokia E75/71 etc u can connect to PC Suite via bluetooth. Ace - not able to connect to Kies via bluetooth?

Which is better, Motorola Defy or Samsung Galaxy Ace? As I've noticed most of the users are complaining the battery life of Galaxy Ace but specs is better than the Defy? Please advise. Thanks!

see if it works for you.. as for when i do get there, it just says the same as it does in android market,
"the requested item could not be found."
QSTN: if we do upgrade to gingerbread, will it work then? :)

hey guys i dnt undrstnd why u people r buying ace wen galaxy sl is availaible at 17k. Samsung ace cost around 15-16k hopefully it wil come down under 12k. Galaxy sl is far superior than ace. Just check spec yourself.

Ace User, 18 Mar 2011i bought this phone and works like a dream but since 2 - 3 ... moreMoving contacts is ver easy.
Copy your contacts in your Memory Card using PC Suite from Nokia phone.
Then insert the memory card in to Ace. Then go to contacts -- > Import/Export --> Import from SD Card.
Very simple.
