if you have the budget then wave II is better then defy and ace in every aspect. Wave II has faster processor, better RAM, better camera and video recording, bigger and better screen, excellent video playback and music quality. Only plus with Defy and ace is that android has more apps then Bada at the moment.

I'm really confuse on what to buy as my new mid budget handset; a Sony Ericsson EXPERIA X8 or a Samsung Galaxy Ace? Im also thinking of waiting for SE Neo or buy a Defy...

hey friends.
Galaxy Ace is a very good phone for this price range.
But i've been hearing from many threads that the procesr is the same as optimus1,but it's slightly overclockd to 800mhz. If thts true..then nt gud!!
Also many r confused abt its ram.can anyone tell exactly how much ram Ace has???

Android market has skype lite available which u can simply install from the android apps market. But u have to use a data plan to make calls from skype. which country r u from Natasha?

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent) Pros: Good Display, Good design,Good Camera with flash, Good performance (800Mhz), With Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset Cons: ArmV6 (Flash Not supported), No front camera (Novideo Call), The battery not 1500Mah, No light sensor, It's only 278MB RAM given for the user, No dedicated camera button Opinion: Design: I have the black one and Samsung has launched the white one lately. From the design, i can say it much a like with Iphone with chrome list around the body. The back cover is not a finger print magnet but unfortunately the front cover is. It's very easy to be gripped and not too heavy. Actually, it's very comfortable on the hands. It has no front camera and light sensor. So for those who wants to have a skype video call, just be disappointed with this device. And with the absence of the light sensor, i have to adjustthe screen brightness when i use it outdoor. On the back, It has 5 MP camera with LED Flash to help you take a better picture at indoor place or for places with few light. Theback cover (mine) is black and it has dots covered on the back cover which make it easy to gripped and of course, make it not a finger print magnet. Browsing and messaging experiences: With the default Browsing, it's really comfortable and very fast with minimalist design. The push mail with Google account (Gmail, contacts, and calendar) makes it perfect for Google's user like me. If you go to the market though, it has the YMail and Ymessenger. SO, if you are a Yahoo's users don't worry, the contacts and Ymail can be sync with your phone's contacts. Display: It's quite big with 3.5" display make as big as Iphone 3GS. Froyo 2.2 experience: - It supports installation on micro SD (yup it has Micro SD slot with 2GB in the package). Not all Application can be installed on micro SD but there are some tricks to make all apps can be installed on micro SD. Plz use google if you want to know. - Very Fast Browsing - Good Ram management though it's only 278Mb Ram's given for the user. But it feels rarely having lack on the performance. Except if you're playing a game that needs a very big Ram. - With the Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset. It has no problem when you're browsing or open the gallery Or playing with the kinetic scroll on the screen. It's very smooth. Gaming experience: I'm only playing angry bird and some SNES game, it's working very smooth. Notes: SOme already Tested PES 2010 and it works with little of lagging. GPS's experience: I'm using PAPAGO and it's working very fine. Overall: With the price that's over by samsung and the good performance, It really makes sense to have this Froyo's gadget when you're looking for a mid-end android gadget.

Hi All,
I bought dis phn frm mumbai @14.5k last week, since den i hav been extensively exploring each n every feature of dis phn.
Below are some pros n cons which i experienced against LG optimus one wch i was using earlier.
Pros:
1. Excellent speed n responsive to touch without any lag till date...thanks to 800 Mhz processor
2. Display wid 320x480 is great... nice sunlight legibility
3. Great audio quality even wid bundled headphone n loudspeaker is also loud enough
4. Camera quality is also good...pics taken showed good color reproduction
5. Ligh weight,pocketable n comfortable to hold
Cons:
1. Average battery life....lasts for 1.5 days if used extensively(Wifi, gaming, watching movies, etc)
2. No Divx/Xvid support (but doesn't matter as free apps like QQplayer n Rockplayer are there on market)
3. Less preloaded apps as compared to LG optimus one (no need to worry as all preloaded apps of optimus are available on market for free)
4. Gingerbread update is still a big question !
5. 256 MB RAM as compared to 512 Mb RAM in optimus.
The build quality is also great as compared to optimus one...looks like u are holding n iphone or mini version galaxy S
whereas optimus one is having rubbery finish which i didnt liked.
