Hi. According on this site http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/samsung-galaxy-ace-s5830-specs-features.html its definitely 512mb of RAM. You will not regret if you buy this phone. Its perfect!!!! Second to my Samsung WAVE S8500 phone.

The phone is already out in the market (Philippines). My friend purchased this phone yesterday and we found out that the phone is amazingly beautiful. Very cheap midrange phone. We will post again very soon for the performance.... Please buy this phone and you will never regret... SAMSUNG your the Best!!!!
Please release BADA 2.0 asap for wave 1. Thanks!

Hello everyone!Looks like Samsung will drive us crazy with their passion for "variation", as they did with the whole Galaxy S line. I won't go in details as I sure everyone knows what I talking.
I wished I could pickup something from each one of them (materials and shape from GA version,price from AT&T plan coming with the phone, the flash from Verizon, etc) and turn it into the Galaxy S it should have been in the first place and it could have, which is worst.
Now, what they do with Ace??????

Well, is just a picture...you may say, the phone is not on the market yet...
Absolutelly, but then...go and Youtube and check a 3 Network promo of the device....which has the silver ring around, quite shiny and a rubberized backcover which I will pick anytime over the glossy one....
Why?Why?Why?
I bet the glossy one version will come up first and you will decide to wait until the ruberrized version will start selling and after a long wait....you will decide to go for the first one as the second will look...unreal..and then, the rubberized backcover...which will make you want to sell yours and add some money and buy the same cellphone...
True? Maybe....Who knows...but the question remain still:

The Battery life is very poor.. as you can see in the following review it got noticeably less in 4 minutes of review..

please.. tell us how much RAM on it?
on other video review it only show 278 MB of RAM.
FYI, what i saw is not ROM memory,
i knew that information when the video show the task manager,
it shows ram usage is 186 from 278 MB.
optimus one has 512 MB,
why this phone which is the competitor in same range only has 278 :(

sunny, 28 Jan 2011It has 158Mb Ram.158 MB is not RAM :P Its internal storage(like a internal microSD card). RAM is different. Its Random access memory. The smaller sibiling Galaxy mini has 384MB RAM. So i am sure this has 512MB RAM or at least the 384MB RAM of the smaller sibling.Why isnt GSMarena not including this crucial info in specs/ preview? They had included it for Galaxy Mini.

if its priced around 18k then i would rather go for moto defy which has a much better resolution 3.5 inch screen and better config like 2ndry cam and durability. defy is priced in India at 18500rs and will drop to around 17500rs after the initial rush. so this phones success will solely depend on its pricing. its a double edged sword for samsung. will have to sacrifice one game for the other. either see samsun wave2's sales fall or this phone bombs in the market becz of the price. this is business i guess. lolz

it dosnt look like having a ram of only 158mb on youtube.i am sure its min 258mb from the response of the phone. i am sure its the internal memory of 158mb. thts apt for a mid range phone and from the looks of it will be priced very close or can say slightly more than HTC wildfire. around 16500rs max in India. so thts a good bargain taking into consideration the config. but seeing samsungs bada running wave2 they may have second thoughts and price it around 18000rs.
