How long should it take to download the Samsung apps.? Mine has been downloading for 2 days now and still not finished. Just seeing the little circle going round and round.

My daughter and I each have this phone Having owned, used and relied heavily on them for 16 months. It is true that the battery is undersized. Too small for all that this phone can do. The battery is also easy to ruin. More below.
Battery life is affected by the services you have on. Got to Settings, Location and Security. Turn off Use wireless networks and Use GPS satellites. Swipe down from the top of the screen and turn WiFI off when you don't need it.
Make sure the background is black. Anything other than black use electricity to illuminate. (Take a picture of something that is solid black and set that photo as your background.)
Doing these things will substantially improve your battery life.
My daughter did all of the above on day one. She gets five days between charges. I pushed the battery and phone to its limits from the beginning and ruined the battery within days. I still use that battery. But with the above modifications only get two days between charges.
I hike with this phone. Tracking my location with My Tracks and Runkeeper simultaneously. I take hundreds of pictures. To do this I do need to tether to an external battery source. The pictures are so good people want to know what kind of phone I have. I correct them. Telling them I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace camera that includes a phone.
This is a fabulous phone as long as you are not using more services at a time than you need.

Don't go for this phone. Battery sucks. If u want budget phone go for new phones. Better options in April Nokia Lumia 520, Sony xperia E, Xolo q800, Nokia lumia 620, Lenovo P700i.
