After receiving an OTA update 257.93 mb. I have noticed that the Stand by time of my device has been improved drastically. Also overall battery life & performance has been improved as well.
I'll post snapshots for the standby time soon.

3.5 Hours SOT
With WiFi always on and played newly launched Injustice 2 heavy game as well.
I have attached screenshots, considering I am using the same battery since Dec 2014, it isn't bad. It also charges from 50 to 90% in just 27 min.
My phone is Exynos G850Y Indian one.

I am from India & has been using Alpha Since November 2014 & it is running on lollipop 5.0.2.

I didn't notice any changes in to my device accept Build Number, Security Software Version etc.

13.05.2017 my last word for this beauty : **** you samsung. I went back to a5 2016. I really want you to destroy this phone after nougat update as well. Even if you give me a free note 8 I will throw right into your face, while it is on fire.

Every super heavy game drains battery like a lightning strike. Even 1.5 year ago battery wasn't that great. I could get 2.5 hours screen time on light games and that was the best I could get. A5 2016 wipes the floor with alpha in terms of battery. A5 2016 lasts 4hours on light gaming and 2.5hours on heavy gaming.
I thought alpha will get MM but samsung said:"suck it. Buy A series" (BUT A SERIES CAN'T PLAY A VIDEO IN 1080 60 FPS and they cost 450 euros. I am seriosly considering throw alpha in trash. Also I have to restart it 2 times a day because screen freezing is pissing me so hard!!!

I am fine with this phone's battery, it works from 10 am to 7 pm for me with medium usage and 5 hours for extremely high usage.
I only experience huge battery drain when GPS is turned on, otherwise no issue.
But yes, try factory reset and check old battery performance before buying new one
My friend is having Galaxy S8 and I am not seing huge battery life difference. I gets 3.5 Hours Screen on Time even after 2.5 years and my friend's new S8 gets 4.5 hours
We should also consider that Alpha takes 80 min. To full charge and S8 takes 105 min.

When i try to unlock my phone with fingerprint it says me "Fingerprint sensor error ocurred" and after this it doesn't require me the backup pasword but the phone stuck in the emergency mode. I restart the phone, tryed to switch out of the emergency mode but still nothing.... Finally i was forced to make a factory reset and lost all my photos (alpha has not sd card slot) and the fingerprint worked only for two days more. After this the same story: Fingerprint sensor error, emergency mode and wont let me to unlock even with the backup pasword..... have anyone face this problem?
