All Specification was good.But you have to improve the battery life 1860mAh to 2000mAh..

GyZ, 28 Sep 2014I think 550€ for S5 is already flagship price. So 650€ for ... moreYeah maybe samsung should've kept the price even low (around 600$ or somewhere near). But its definitely not a upper mid-range smartphone. Thats what i think.
Even i dont know whether i'll be buying this phone.
My choices are htc one m8, note 4, galaxy alpha and iphone 5s. Most probably i would strike out the note 4 as its too big for my hands and would be a trouble to use with one hand even with the software enhancements for one handed use.

To all the people complaining for battery, since it's replaceable you can give an extra of 15€ and buy the one of sgs5 or even more mAh.

Samsung made an error for such a high price, because it is only an upper midrange phone...I don't see people rushing to buy it, they will probably buy the cheaper and bigger A5. That is what i am going to do.

Even this phone is a high end flagship except for the fact that it lacks some features from being a proper flagship.
So whats the problem in buying this phone? An iphone 6 costs around 850$ and this phone costs around 654$. Obviously the alpha is a better option right?
It was made to give direct competition to the iphone and you should'nt compare it with other android flagships. You will obviously be disappointed if you do that.....

Processor , RAM , Provided Internal memory features are aswome but battery 1860mAh increase 2000< it will be really good

In india it was launched around 52,000 INR and now the price is 38,000 INR. The alpha costs for about 39,990 INR which is not bad. Galaxy s5 has a really bad design. Its pathetic actually...
Its nice to see samsung change their design language but they should've done this before

Regarding RAM my friend, what is the need of 3gb RAM? The phone doesnt have a 1080p screen and it has a beefy processor..... so technically it can handle any pressure put on it, be it high graphic games or better daily performance.....
Speakers is a bit of a bummer. I think stereo speakers should be made a standard on all devices but i am willing to sacrifice sound quality.
Besides that its a great smartphone and very compact. Power packed with stuff found in all high end smartphones....

Disappointed, only 4.7". If you want to make it premium metal model, at least 5" or 5.3" with other premium features ie. ois camera, 3GB of ram instead of 2GB, battery should be bump up and maybe upgrade of speaker for great sound. You know what I mean, everything top of latest features. And also it will definitely get peoples attention.

This is a waste phone because :
> No memory card slot
> No FM radio
> No laser auto focus
> No optical image and optical video stabilization
> Only 1860 mAh battery for octa core chipset? - CPU and chipset are almost similar to the Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500.
> No 4G 2300 MHz support for Indian mobile networks
LG G3 is far more better than this crap.

As specfications this product value should above 300$ atleast its resonable to company costvalue n also for customers to buy it without feel cheated.
Its exynos octa definitely better than mtk 6592 or 6595 but not even close to snapdrgn 800 also battery capacity nt enough cosider its android ...!!!

So here goes....(and this time i will really compare the specs)
Iphone 6
1.3 ghz dual core, 1 gb RAM, 8mp camera, 4.7 inch screen
No micro sd card slot, non removable battery and these crappy specs are used since 3 iterations of the iphone line up (except the larger screen).
Galaxy alpha
Octa core processor (1.8 ghz quad and 1.3 ghz quad), 2 gb RAM, 12mp camera, 4.7 inch screen, no micro sd card slot, user removable battery, ability to share media via bluetooth, can use launchers if you are bored with touchwiz, etc etc etc.
Just because samsung decided not to include a micro sd card slot doesnt make this a bad phone.
Also consider the price difference. Galaxy alpha=649$ iphone 6=849$(approx US dollars).
Apple failed to deliver.... again.
