HTC E8 is having better configuration than samsung galaxy alpha and even while checking the price , for HTC its only 30K and for alpha its more than 40K...Hello samsung if it goes like this your era will end soon

For various reasons I prefer to use an android device ... so now with this hardware, much smaller size (of the same or comparable galaxy s2 or iphone 5s) there is no doubt I will buy when it is released in Brazil. ;)

These phones are running on latest generation Exynos chip, which is less power hungry then previous generations! I'm not saying this phone has great battery life, but judging a phone by its battery mAh count is nonsense!

The camera on the Z3 is better however, not by a huge margin though. And Z3 is overall more compact than Alpha. Z3C also has 1080p display. And it's needless to say that it has the best battery life of any phone so far! (Exclude the Note series)
The only reason I'd avoid Alpha will be because it runs on TouchWiz, which is an awful skin in comparison with Sony's rather minimalistic skin.
Both are great phones to be quite honest, you can't go wrong with either.

I tried the phone and don't like its design, hate the big bezel and the square edges, looks like a sony phone. Height is too much also. Speaker on the edge is good. Better buy a S5 for the same price.

It should be Sony who uses the name of Alpha for their smartphone series. They already have brand name of Alpha for their digital camera so this could be another additional member for their smartphone families.

If I could I would.This is more likely the specs of the A7 since its the flagship of the a series and Samsung loves to boast numbers.
PS I want that 5' screen to be handled without a lot of hand gymnastics like the s4.

This phone was released to compete with the new iPhone. The specs are literally on par with Apple's new phone, hence the 4.7 premium design and high price tag.
