So you can pick between the big note 4 or the compact alpha both are gonna be sporting great design(by Samsung standards).The "S" series is really getting pushed back.

No SD Card slot and Google update to 4.4.2 does not allow users to access full the SD Cards?
I hope android is NOT EVEN considering limiting the users to not having SD Cards in future devices. One reason I stopped buying Apple devices is because I do not like investing money in limiting devices.
I was waiting for this phone (I currently have Samsung S4 Active), I decided to not buy Samsung S5 because the design was still very unattractive. I was hoping they'd update the design after the S5, apparently Samsung updated the external design... and downgraded the capabilities of the phone. In my opinion it seems like they don't want Samsung users to have the best, but just the average product. It does not make sense that if I can make my product have good design and good hardware, I only make a product with one thing or the other.
Thanks for trying Samsung. But I am changing brands for my next device. Definitely not Samsung Alpha (lol Alpha should stand for something magnificent... this device is anything but alpha material)

Qwerty, 28 Aug 2014Why r u trolling here i love s series Well the "A" series is coming and their specs are moving into the "S" series territory and as you know one looks better than the other.The "note" series is always gonna be big and now they're gonna be pretty.So the only place for the "S" series is as a budget series.

battery is quite good as we know Kit Kat burns less battery and a with UPS option it will be Wow. Good initiative from the market leaders. Metal body from samsung was long awaited.

The battery's capacity is indeed small, but Samsung made the battery removable. You can swap a new battery anytime time want.
