S5 mini have 4.5 inch display with 2100 mAh battery. Galaxy alpha 4.7 inch display and battery only 1860 mAh????????????????? I can easily buy 3 MI3 phones @ this price :)

battery capacity is very low ;(Samsung's new Exynos 5430 is a 20nm SoC based processor. It consumes less power compared to the Snapdragon 28nm processors. Samsung claims that the power consumption of the new Exynos 5430 processors is 25% lower than the current SoC processors. This is a big achievement of Samsung. I hope that Galaxy Alpha will have a much better battery life than the Galaxy S5. You don't really need to worry about the battery life of the Galaxy Alpha.
Can't wait for the Note 4 with Exynos processor.

the specs looks great, as well as the design and the display. the display is ok, not to big nor to small. but removing the microSD card slot, no Fm radio and low battery capacity was a downgrade. i don't why samsung removed this features!.

observer, 16 Aug 2014I see that samsung galaxy s6 has the same shitty design.All the Apple Iphones have the same design. That is is not boring? Anyway, there is a big difference between the S2 and S3 for example, but such a big differences are not between Iphones. :P

I think Samsung did a great job! The design is new and yet it is still a real Samsung.
I read a lot of oppinion and statements of persons that know everything (they think). First wait for the total picture en then judge this phone.
For what I have seen end read so far I think this phone will be (is) a real beast.
If the same holds for the upcoming Note 4 then Samsung is doing very well indeed.

Wifi direct being the fastest. transfers at upto 10 MB/s.

samsung should have added a card slot as removable memory becomes very usable sometimes.
