Anonymous, 14 Aug 2014it is very obvious samsung can keep up with the low quality... moreMy dear friend.Apple does something called optimization which can only be done when you control both hardware and software.No android manufacturer can achieve this because they don't own android and if they do they don't design or make the components for that phone.That dual core beats quad cores and octa core in both benchmarks and real world performance.That one gig of ram performs as good as 3 gigs of ram.That 8 mega pixel performed as good as the 13 mega pixel on the s4 and little behind the 16 mega pixel on the s5.
Samsung and other Android manufacturers treat you to gimmicks most of the time but they have the most features technically though.Apple has less features but I guarantee you those features will work 99.9% of the time.
Android is more open and more customizable but it is less reliable vice-versa for iOS.The two platforms are quickly eliminating these weakness.That's when the real victor will show themselves through customer and brand loyalty.At this rate iOS will win.
I will buy a new iphone or android after the iphone 6 is revealed so I can decide which is best for me.If I choose apple I will just stay in there ecosystem and hardware(iphone,ipad,mac,imac) because of the unity they have.

hope price of this mobile will drop after 3months of launch.. s5 launched in india with a a price tag of 50000rs but now same model available for 37k since there no value for exynos devices price will decrease very soon... samsung please make this model price should be around 30k then it will win more hearts in india.

Samsung is adding a 3rd model to their flagship line up in hopes to curve their every dropping sales. Once the new iphones come out is pretty much over for Samsung.

number 2 was Galaxy s4
number 3 note was the note 2
number 4 was the iphone 4s
most popular phone model around the world. Iphone5
Most popular brand by market share was Samsung as as they depend on 54 released phones in the 2013 calender year.
That said their sales has dropped 20% over the past quarter.

"I hate Samsung!!!!". Now lets talk about the device.
Display- I think 720p is perfect, saves battery, will easily be better then Moto X's display.
Design- Best looking samsung phone yet. Slightly sigh of M8, M7 and G3.
Processing- PowerHouse.
Battery- Its bad, not too bad given the battery saving mode on samsung devices are quite good.
Software- Bloatwares all around. Guess what? You can deactivate them if you don't like them. Personally I think some of them are cool.
S5 vs Alpha- Only possible reason for buying alpha against s5 would be the design. And maybe the price.
iPhone 5s vs alpha- When in doubt, buy iPhone. I personally would prefer alpha, iOS is too boring for me.
iPhone 6 vs Alpha(with stock Android L)- Would be a thing to watch.
