Samsung builds great devices to a price point - that is not in question or an issue. What is of concern is mounting reports from surveillance corporations just how easy it is for them to "procure data" from an Android device.
You dont want to be Government, business, or indeed any person that wants give themselves a chance of not being spied on, and buy a sexy android product.
The debate is being lost.
Open ease of use at your own risk should be stated on Android devices.
I dont have an Android so what are the disclaimers?
So why cant Samsung up the anti, instead of more of the same stuff.
In Australia, Telstra in particular pushed the Samsung S5 - why, are they in a JV with Samsung.
Who collects what data.
Come on Samsung, security please!

I know this comment will be buried but whoever reads it. Remember that If you watch the advertisement it looks this product will be mainly targeting women. And a few gentlemen over 35. Who just want a good looking better built light weight Samsung phone.

Undoubtedly aesthetically its beautiful, but low power battery will play as a spoilsport for this phone.
Samsung should offer a free power bank and a spare battery with this phone.
God save Samsung mobiles now.

I think Alpha is a teaser phone for the Note 4 or Galaxy S6. With this design plus the upgraded specs of Note 3 or S5...it'll be one hell of a smartphone.
