Each phone has its own authentic firmware which is specialized to run only on it. Even if you manage to install a custom one, the phone will never be fully operational or have access to all of its features at the best performance.

definitely ... moreIt is impossible to get something similar at about 300 euros. The lowest price for this phone when I bought it 6 month after was released with a discount Samsung voucher was 600 euros from 800 when was released because it was a flagship in late 2014 - early 2015. Excellent design and premium real metal frame. In Love with its Amoled screen and camera. I really feel nostalgic now.... :-(
Sadly, it lasted me for only 2 years because it broke and since then, I didn't bought a flagship phone like that and the phone I use now is disaster.

love this phone!! been using it for 6-7 years.
definitely love the aluminium frame, that shit protect my phone many times.
cant really complain about it because it still holds up until now for medium usage, definitely a keeper.
sadly i have to change this phone because i need better phone for some apps and better performance overall(mostly the OS and RAM) and samsung already discontinued the wares for this phone since 2022(battery, etc).
can anyone recommend a great phone like this? my budget is about $300

Samsung Galaxy S9/S10e are better than iphone SE and 12 mini is twice more expensive than new S9.
Plus, if you dont want to check price, try look on Asus Zenfone 8. Way, way better than 12 mini, 120hz Super Amoled and way better HW specs with double battery... Around 100€ more than 12 mini.
