Great phone. Batter like I must say sucks big time. Can't get a full day out of it. Worse than I phone.

      2) I skip, i haven't used a S3 in 3 years but i guess brightness should be better and colors far more accurate?

      3) It's up to you and your budget.

      4) It heats like most of phones nowadays, although not as much as S3 levels.

      5) Pretty good for 12MP, check samples in the review.

          I have a Galaxy Alpha and it is a very good cell phone. The battery works well, is elegant and quick. I´m very pleased.

            I am planning to upgrade from s3 and was thinking abt Alpha ...Can any one let me know the following...

            1.) Does the finger print sensor really work or not
            2.) Hows the screen as compared to S3(If any one have used s3)
            3.) I will be using the phone for next 1-2 yrs, so shd I wait for any new mobile
            4.)Does the phone get heated on normal use(talking, chatting, while using internet)
            5.)Hows the camera quality

                            Yes.. WhatsApp were always running on the background & I don't use Facebook App as it consumes a lot of battery due to always syncing the data in background so i prefer FB through Chrome only...

                              I would like to know that is many apps running in background like WhatsApp, Facebook, FB messenger, Wechat, LINE ?
                              Because these apps taken some battery for social messaging and notifications.

                                    I am getting insane Battery life of 4 Days 1 hour 32 minutes on a single charge (100% to 1%) (with moderate to heavy usage).

                                      With 1800 mA battery you will spend more time with it charging than browsing..but as usual at samsung good phones, poor batteries . I have galaxy express 2. One day ,one charge with just calls and few web pages ...
