Cause for now lollypop is buggy os .
also i don't like White ui of samsung on lollypop i have seen on Galaxy Note 4 . ( on settings app , call app etc. )

Me too have Gold version of ALPHA but i m not disappointed with anything at all.
1- I also purchased @ 37k on 16 November 14 & major price drop is always there in all samsung devices after a certain period of time. i.e: Galaxy S5 cost 30 K & Note 4 cost around 44 k which was @ Rs. 54,000 on initial launch. Price drop issue should not be there in samsung devices .
2- I feel good that they are discontinuing this monster as i don't want every other person to hold this beauty along with me. Just Kidding... :)
And don't worry about Lollipop update all ALPHA owner will get lollipop update very soon as it is being under testing mode.
So be happy with this limited addition smart looking & Monster Device as i am.

1 - it got price drop . I bought it for 37k at 9th december , and now its available at 30k .
2 - samsung is discontinuing this beast .
Same thing happened again with me , i had samsung wave 2 s8530 , and they abandoned very good bada os.

Well..my honest opinion about this phone, its a very nice phone. Those who complained about screen resolution 720 not sharp etc, lel..test it yourself. Small screen phone doesnt need 1080. Battery life not so good for a heavy user. But this phone charge quite fast. Camera wise is damn excellent. Bad thing for this phone is now its discontinued. So parts will be hard to get and expensive.

The Galaxy Alpha smartphone is one of the best mobile phone. Obviously, for those who does not like Android OS (such as ios' likers, i.e.), this post will not be welcome. However, the Alpha line is amazing: handsome, pleasent, fast and useful. One little "minus" is there: the plastic back cover. And that's all. But it is not very important for clever users. I am happy to owe an Alpha!

First and formost, Alpha is different from any other models Samsung has produce. Looking from the back, A series screamed 'galaxy grand/S3'.
