Samsung Galaxy Buds2 mass production reportedly starts as launch nears

The Unpacked event in July is expected to introduce Samsung’s new foldable devices and possibly three Galaxy Watch4 models and maybe even the second generation Galaxy Buds. Samsung is already mass producing the parts for them and yields are starting to stabilize, according to leakster Roland Quandt.

The name of the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 (SM-R177, code name ‘berry’) was first spotted in an APK teardown in March. More recently a sketch of their charging case surfaced, showing a familiar design (though the case is said to be larger than before). The buds will allegedly be available in four colors: black, white, purple and green.

Note that these are a sequel to the original, so Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is not expected. The price will be around $100 as (according to rumors) they will cost less than the Buds+ (which launched at $150/€170).
