Samsung Galaxy C55 listed on Google Play Console

Yordan, 26 March 2024

Samsung is preparing to bring back the Galaxy C lineup, nearly 7 years after the last member was launched. A listing on Google Play Console reveals that a phone with the name Galaxy C55 is on its way. The model number is m55xqeea, meaning it could very well be Galaxy M55 (also rumored to sell as Galaxy F55) designated for different markets or sales channels.

The phone matches the key specs of the Galaxy M55/F55 – Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, up to 8 GB RAM and Android 14 out of the box.

The phone is pictured with three cameras, and if the C55 is the same as the rumored M55, the shooters could be 50 MP main, 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP portrait lens.

The listing does not provide information about an eventual Galaxy C55 launch, but we expect it to be soon since the phone has its final software approved for Google Play Console.
