i just bought this phone recently. very nice phone. but the only problem i had with this phone, is that after i updated it in the new firmware, the google apps and playstore are now gone and if you install the google play services manually, it gave an error saying the google play services has stopped.. if you are planning to buy this phone,just wait for international version and refrain from buying chinese version

Yes, this phone has Gorilla glass and I bought it.
It has been 6 months now and there is still no problem with it.
It is a BIG phone so be carefull (bigger compared to the iphone 7 plus! )

Try using the country code as your first 3/4 digits when saving the phone numbers. For examples: +852XXXXXX, +60XXXXXX etc.
