If you want the best and biggest display, go for c9 pro. Or there's also the Blu pure xr, Xiaomi mi note 2, and samsung galaxy a8 (2016) which are amazing mid-rangers

Yes , i checked aida 64 its giving 13 Mp samsung camera details but the camera details & resolution match IMX 298.

SksKumar .. i doubt aida 64 has detected it properly.
The reason is simple , firstly tell me any samsung 16 MP sensor which has OIS , with 1/2.8" OIS Sensor ( 1/2.8" is given on GSMARENA specs. page for confirmation ) , Yes the 16MP OIS Samsung ISOCELL sensor is there but its big at 1/2.6" as part of S6 setup. The reason for aida 64 showing ISOCELL ( Its not software error ) its more gimmick on side of samsung to masquerade it as its own sensor or to stamp its own identity & remove sony details. The reason for poor quality is Purposeful on part of samsung , in fact the camera & Hardware can shoot 4K Video ( Snapdragon 652 , & 16MP OIS ) but purposely dropped to 1080p as they dont want to eat s6 , s7 market ( A9 Pro has bigger battery , much bigger display ( Who cares for 550 ppi stuff as you wont be able to distinguish above retina resolution 326 ppi. ) , & all prices 30% - 35% less with more than enough 652 processor & 4 GB ram like S6 , s7 ) The lack of clarity is more because of over-sharpening of photos reducing details at tree , foliage level ( Even s7 camera has fallen behind LG G5 because of that ) , it also reduce details at general shoots of windows , shadows etc. i.e. more of aggressive noise reduction algorithm , in oneplus & Mi they have made a perfect balance for them it is flagship for samsung it was somehow like Ok , downgrade it i have to sell s6 , s6 edge. They have also given it poor exposure software so it might sometime disappoint. C9 Pro camera on other hand has less issues of exposure but the sensor it self is small & stretched up ( 1 micro pixel like in Moto M ) so the clarity is gonna suffer even more , specially pixel peeping .
There is only one sensor with this unique arrangement of OIS with 1/2.8" & its with Sony Exmor RS 16MP , its has next gen OIS & hence used in all popular chinese flagships like Nubia N11 , Oneplus 3T , 3 , Mi5 etc. Now many online reviewers on you tube have mentioned it have same sensor but less detailing than Oneplus , Mi etc. so i would say its sad that they have downgraded the sensor capabilities otherwise camera would come dangerously close to s6 edge .
And yes , samsung does make special sensor for special model , but they are quite in line with what they have like they wont change sensor size for specific mid ranger , you can have 2 variants with different quality of details & same sensor for i.e. 1/4" for 8 MP but 2 phones made with same sensor one midranger other flagship , but when you click photos it shows different detail levels , more pixel peeping for flagship & better exposure level , these software gimmicks can also confuse users into believing there mid ranger has different sensor , but its same sensor with minor alterations & mediocre software for Midranger. Same is case with A9 Pro versus OnePlus 3T or Oneplus 3 or Mi5. ( Ie. same sensor but samsung has purposely put mediocre software on camera again samsung own oversharpening etc. issues also make matter worst. )

SKS Kumar - Which software did you use to see specs.
Anyways , its known fact that it uses 1/2.8" Sony IMX298 sensor , its on GSMARENA specs. page ( Sensor name is not mentioned , only size ) , then it has been reviewed were reviewers have announched it having IMX 298 & that oneplus 3 is better than A9 Pro on clarity ( It has been done purposely by samsung so there is difference with flagships , sad but true & the same thing they have done with C9 Pro. )
John Smith - A9 Pro & C9 Pro both are excellent devices , only C9 Pro has better hardware ( Marginal ) , RAM is 6 GB ( Again will show marginal difference after all A9 already has 4 GB ram , but still 6 is more than 4 ) , so its a better overall Hardware Package incl. 64 GB ROM so expect 55 GB in built plus Micro SD Card if that the winning combo.
A9 Pro has better back camera incl. OIS , Gorilla Glass 4 all sides , 32 GB ROM ( 23.5 available ) plus MicroSD , 4 GB RAM , so A9 Pro is not that bad after all 32 GB Internal should be enough unless you are App or Gamer Installer.
So C9 Pro is better overall , & if you can ignore the glass & OIS & Small Back Sensor stuff then its nothing like C9 Pro , of course i am not sure which AMOLED screen is better . For details on back camera C9 Pro has ISOCELL sensor Samsung SK3P3 , 1/3.06" Sensor , 16 MP , with 1 micropixel used for Redmi Note 3 , Mi Max & now Samsung C7 & C9.
