TechLord777, 22 Oct 2016Just four years ago, only high-end devices were usable. Pow... moreWhat part of " Unofficial preliminary specifications " didn't get ?
And honestly; with software manipulation you can get 4k video recording if you really need it.
I have a lowcost phone what officially records only 720p but I have a modded camera that allows me to record up to 1080@30p.
And in terms of smartphone, everyone have personal tastes ;)

Just four years ago, only high-end devices were usable. Power users had luxory with their Flagships.
The C9 has 6 GB of RAM? F1.9 camera? (OppO R9S+ had F1.7)
But C9 has only 1080p@30fps video recording? How can that be?
And the A series have a Radio?

The flagships should cover the full feature range of all other phone.
Hyun Yule Lee should be fired from the flagship development team. She is the reason for all those removed features.
How can the C9 and A9 have a larger battery than a flagship? More RAM? (the south korean Note 7 has 6 GB Ram and 128 GB IntMem)

That's very strange. Did nobody else notice this?

Julliard, 21 Oct 2016No longer relevant with always-on-display(if it have it). M... moreI don't agree about that the screen turn on (even for a second) when an email or a message is received (from whatsapp, FB messenger...etc). All I hear is the notification sound and then the LED flash pops with a specific color for each app (I'm using LG G2). That's why LED notification is useful for me since I'm not interested too much in unlocking my phone unnecessarily.

If it comes with 4.7 - 5 inch size then will love to have this phone

AnonD-104517, 12 Oct 2016i dont get it why they got C series when they already have ... moreC series is Samsung takes on the metal unibody design plus the fingerprint sensors added in. A series is more of a residue of S6 experimentation with all glass design(2016). The first generation A series were movement of getting rid of the plastic accents. We can say that C series is a perfected A series. Noticed how A8, A9, A9 Pro are all metal unibody. My guess, glass phone can't get any bigger since it will be more fragile. Even J7 Prime is metal too. Samsung might moves to going all-metal for S8 but who knows. They kept releasing metal phones. Maybe the China market demands higher quality product that is not fragile. Specs war in China is very intense.

AnonD-200528, 21 Oct 2016Does it have notification LED?No longer relevant with always-on-display(if it have it). Most of us are almost all the time near the phone, so it's basically impossible to miss a call or email. We're getting addicted to our phones and this is one of the reasons why we unlock them without any reasons several times a day. If the phone is in the pocket, it vibrates and rings, so you can't miss a call. Plus, the LED is useless in a pocket. If the phone is on the desk and you're working, you can see an incoming notification even in silent mode because the screen turns on. So an LED would once again be useless. Even if it have LED, Samsung tend to lower its intensity(older models) because they considered it intrusive. Under sunlight you can't even see the LED notification.

AnonD-200528, 21 Oct 2016Does it have notification LED?Good question, since the new Samsung smart phones now have an Always-on display feature. If this one has it, there is no need for LED notification lights. Wait for a few weeks, until videos will come.

I think C series are like A series but more customized for Chinese market. High ram, focus on camera, metallic design with iPhone design philosophy in mind, they all remind me of Chinese phones.
