Either your phone was downloading something, updates or whatever,
Or you are in an area with REALLY weak signal, so phone is beaming a bigger signal to keep your network connection. This is usually the case by the way, I had a phone once that suddenly got a battery improvement when I moved houses. Turns out there was a signal tower about 1km from the new place.
Other than that, you should be getting a full day without issues. This is my experience and 3 friends also

This is one of the best phone I ever had. Only issue is the size, it is really annoying, too big :)
But I need it for work, so the big screen is very important for pdf and Powerpoint presentation viewing, Excel files etc
Other than that, no issues.
Just make sure you get the screen protector with it, coz the screen is really big and high risk of scratches. Screen is scratch resistant, very good too, but dont risk.

it is not in settings Hi, if you want to update your android version, you download the Rom & install Odin in your system.
Better to read the description that how to put the Roms in Odin & Connect your device to your system.
Search in Google & will find them.

My only issue is VoLTE.
It's not working.
I live in Canada and both my carriers provide VoLTE. My C9 Pro purchased from Amazon.ca is Honk Kong made. I upgraded to Nougat 7.0.1 and still no VoLTE. What software should I expect for? It doesn't show LTE, just 4G/3G/2G. Is this the reason?

Hi! I am a Samsung user for 8 years already. This is my 3rd Samsung phone after S3 and S6. Both phones were really great. I decided to try their mid range phones with awesome features so here's my review:
I have my c9pro for 14 months already. It's more than a year and yet the battery is still good. It drains slowly esp when you reach 50%. Mine still lasts more than 24 hrs. With moderate use, (social media) it can last you 24-30 hrs. Heavy use is 20-24 hrs considering it's a year old. (In mid battery saving mode)
Since this is 4000mAh, thr fast charging could take up to 2hrs for 100%. It is understood bec the battery is large.
Speed is great considering it is 6Gig RAM. I can multitask with no problem. Even in mid battery saving, the performance is very acceptable. What more if no battery saving, the transition within programs & performance is crisp until now.
The only issue I have is the camera, its stability in taking pictures is kind of poor, but the quality in light is good. If u dont take much pictures, camera is a-okay. Also, accessories are rare with this model. I find it hard to search for phone cases. I believe this was only released in China and some parts of Asia and is not globally available. I hope they make this available to all because this is an underrated phone with such great quality.
Overall, I am well satisfied with this phone. It is high quality considering the lower cost than high end phones. You get the bang for your buck with c9pro.

So that you can enjoy lot more features than any other handsets which runs in the same Android version. So ultimately it need more time to customize the new comer (Oreo). It is the reason now a days all OEMs are joined their hands to release Android one devices. Android one is nothing but pure stock android. If you want fast update go with stock android devices like Moto, Nokia, Even Htc now, or with less cutomized android like sony and one plus. Or stay with samsung if u want all extra features that samsung offered and be calm until the next update release.

Volte is sometimes depends on software updates. And to support volte the carrier and samsung needs to works together to give a software patch. And to your question yes this phone by default can supports jio Volte but not Airtel and others. To support other networks volte samsung needs to provide updates
