hey...its a nice cam as well as a nice phone too but we cant make call...but its jellibeen os nd 4.8" screen is very much usefull for internet nd other phone activitees...

Hi.
Just had my hands on it. I was able to buy it for Php20200. Overall, the quality of the images it produce rivals the Pureview. It excels in zoomed-in shots and is better than any Sony camera phones in lowlight conditions.
Gaming and everything else is as good as when using other android device of the same spec. Its a bit hard to hold though cause of the camera protrusion.
It can be used for texting via 3G but has no firmware to support phone calls. I was able to pair mine with Gmate and calling works fine. The only drawback, if you decide to receive a call using it when your in a crowd, EVERYONE WILL STARE AT YOU WITH DOUBTFUL EYES.

i tested it, i can send and receive a text SMS under my sim (under my phone number)but could not make or receive call.
Camera can make or receive call via voip, i installed fongo app and it does everything with new number (number from fongo) for free. you need data or wifi

from my understanding, its an android camera. may be there is no function for sms or call but we can install it. same goes to video call. we can use third party applications. like u said by using skype or vibe or yahoo messenger.

It is a camera based device and it has only 16 MP camera?!It should have had a 32 MP one to do justice to its name....

u can call but u have to be only in 3g ntwrk bcoz there is no 2g ntwrk. n its a phone wid camera not a single camera....

nope. its already written. but who cares for calling if yua phone is such a rocking cam :* but u can insert simcards and data cards :)

sim card slot available but purely for data..CANT MAKE GSM voice calls..not so sure about skype and viber though.

Pls watch the official ad. You can make video calls using this. Specs also mention talktime hours.
However, at the shop, i can't find the Call or Phone icon. Perhaps, via Viber or Skype?
