It doesn't support 3g or 2g calling. But it still can browse web on 3G.

I have met so many who try to compare point and shoot cameras to DSLR which is very very foolish. They are worlds apart from any angle and should not be compared in the first place. Why don't you appreciate this novel idea of a real "Camera Phone"?

albert, 07 Nov 2012why Samsung doesn't put a mobile phone system to this? I th... moreThe main reason why this camera doesnt have a telephone support is the battery life. If this camera had a phone option the fully charged battery wouldnt last for more than an hour. Imagine 21x zoom, 3G and phone.
The other reason that I think why it doesnt support phone is that Samsung didnt want to slow down the sales of its other best selling phones i.e S3 and Note2.
Anyhow, I would love to buy this camera next time I am in Dubai Duty Free.
