For a expert it is not a big thing to revert back to jellybean..itz a preliminary thing for a android expert..I can install jellybean on your grand2 again with my eyes closed..remember u can't revert back to jellybean with the help of kies..u need a flashing software calles ODIN..and also u need the firmware file (.md5)..I advise u to search over the internet "how to flash stock firmware on Samsung galaxy core?"..u will definitely learn something..gdluck

this is a total disappointment, regreting as it doesnt support qhd or hd videos. no inbuilt photo editor and lacks. guys better go for micromax canvas 2.2

I was happy without these also.... Atleast I didn't have any major heating issues with my phone.... also GPS is not perfect... battery backup was good with jellybean.... Its not as simple as you listed to revert back to jellybean.... because a while installing the update it was clearly mentioned that it reverting back to jellybean isn't possible.... We can revert but a single mistake can heavily cost me....

I am using a ... moreKitkat is better than Jellybean. ..your experience with kitkat is bad..because, Samsung didn't properly tune kitkat for grand 2...and you can also revert back to jellybean very easily. ..I have done such things more than 100 times on various mobiles...juat you need-
1) a pc and data cable
2) usb driver(u can use pdnet)
3) odin (flshing software)
4) the firmware (u can download from sammobile.com)
5) u should know how to enter the downloading mode (by pressing power+home+vol down button simultaneously)
Thatz all..it will take 10 to 15 mint
Your friend had done something wrong.but don't worry.he can again flash his grand 2 by odin

I am using a grand 2 upgraded with 4.4.2 kitkat... its the worst.... I am dying to revert back to jellybean but I just can't... Because one member on the grand 2 page decided to revert back to Jellybean and ended up bricking his device.... there is nothing special like that in kitkat... jellybean is the best.. and the main problem with motorola is that it hardly has any service centres in INDIA, so if any problem goes with the device the warranty cannot be claimed.. so I suggested sony and asus which have service centres almost everywhere in INDIA....

Samsung phones are more costly than their actual value. This phone has poor battery backup, no HD video record or even play back, display is not even that good like moto e or other phones of same or lower value having ips display, drains out much faster than it recharges.

Anonymous, 16 Oct 2014Check out galaxy core prime @8.5k.......u will forget this this.I have already check the galaxy core prime... And moto G second generation is far better than galaxy core prime.. Because, moto G has a 5 inch 1280*720 hd resolution IPS display with 326 pixel density.. But prime has a 4.5 inch poor display resolution of 800*480 pls display and only 207 ppi pixel density..moto G has 8mp camera but prime has 5 mlp camera.. Moto g has 16 gb memory..but prime has 8 gb memory... Also motorola gives frequent os updates. But samsung is very very bad in update. They never upgrade their low cost mobiles

i bought this fone from saudia in saudia wifi was working very fine but when i move to pakistan its not showing any wifi network i try restore i try hard reset i re install firmware but no luck plz help

Is it just me or does the core not display emojis when you key them in. I have tried a thousand emoji keyboards but I keep getting those tiny boxes. It's really annoying. I had the trend plus before and had no such problems. Please help. Otherwise, I love this phone.

There are many good mobiles in th... moreYes bro, you are absolutely right...I have never seen a good Samsung mobile below 18k...I have a galaxy core..I have never got problems except poor gaming performance and no hd video support and outdated os...this is because, I m expert enough to maintain my mobile and also I can repair any software problems of any mobile of any brand...but I have met at least 20 people who complained that their sduos/sduos2/trend/neo etc became slow after three for months of use..three days ago, one of my relative gave me his slow sduos to repair..when I tried to check it, I felt really pathetic..the phone is too slow..I hardly managed to repair it to some extent by firmware flashing

Dont buy galaxy core...!! There are many good mobiles in this range like the asus zenfone 4 (2), moto G V2, xperia M, core is now of no use... its not a perfect mobile now... also never ho for a samsung mobile in low range.... if you want to buy a samsung mobile the GOOD mobiles start from 18k....!!
